Interesting - but no women. We see women at rallies in Iran these days, especially young women, are they still not allowed in Afghanistan, or is it too dangerous? I was watching a current affairs report last night on Afghanistan which covered the election lead up and also womens rights and it seemed to indicate that controls are being tightened on women again.
Dear Ann, The women also participated in this welcoming to the president. They are all sitting in one side of the stadium and were not among the crowd. In compare with men, the numbers of women were too small but they were there.
